FISHER GEOMETRY FRAME

GARY FISHER – “GEOMETRY MEASUREMENT FRAME”
Type: Special Adjustment Bike Frame
Circa: 1985
Serial #: None
Purchased: Through “Trips for Kids” Swap Meet

Technical Features:
-Employs movable Bottom Bracket and a fork with rear facing horizontal dropouts
-Written about and illustrated in early mountain bike magazines, either Fat Tire Flyer or Mountain Bike Adventure.
-All original as bought

Personal Notes:
This “Geometry Measurement Tool” allowed Gary Fisher to sample different geometries in actual riding conditions. Making minute changes in bottom bracket height and fork rake, Fisher was able to fine tune and test, noting the changes and making immediate comparisons to the previous settings. I was told that it was put together by A. Eisentraut, a San Francisco Bay Area frame builder.
This is not a bike!
