Technical Features:

-Heat Treated Kinesis Aluminum Fork

Personal Notes:
This bike was made for a junior racer. It was originally designed as a fixed gear and lacked rear brake studs. On my acquiring it, Salvagione welded on rear brake studs and re-heat treated the frame. This bike may be said to be a logical offshoot of the work of Charlie Cunningham and WTB.
Although totally strong (and beefy!) this Salvagione Swift is one of the lightest mountain bikes weighing in at sub 20 lbs. As a climber, it has little competition.
Paolo Salvagione, a true “Renaissance Man”, is the engineer for The Long Now and The 10,000 Year Clock Project.
