Technical Features:

-Original condition (one wheel replaced nicely)
Personal Notes:
A very beautiful lugged and fillet brazed Japanese made frame. It was specified with the Nitto high rise stem. If you sized it on the small side it would position you for competition riding. Riding one full size, your positioning is very much cruiser style. This was Schwinn’s entry as a high quality mountain bike and should have competed well with all the brands, Specialized, etc, producing high quality Japanese frames.
Rides like the Potts (parallel 70’s), a beautiful ride. An unusual feature is a modification that I made with the gearing system. I have equipped the bike with a very low gear range using a fourth chaining 18 teeth. Secondarily the bike is equipped with half step gearing.
Example in this condition are very rare. As such, a great collectable bike.
